Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the oldest of three daughters. She was the child of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), both of whom were real estate developers. Her grandfather moved to Greece in 1904, and her grandmother was of Irish descent. The couple got married in 1976. Psaki is also descended from Polish origins. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000, she graduated from College of William & Mary. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in English and sociology. She is an active Chi Omega member. Psaki was a backstroke swimmer for William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki's career began in 2001, when she became a part of the campaigns to re-elect Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced that Psaki will be an analyst for the 2022 United States elections, and during the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, she will host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming site. [35The 35-year-old Psaki first made an appearance on TV in 2023, following her resignation. was dismissed from her job as White House press secretary and spoke about the Robb Elementary School school shooting.
